Poetry

*My poetry comes from a place of honesty and vulnerability with the purpose of being an avenue of emotional expression and healing. I like to be very transparent. Some of my poems may include triggering or sexual content. I'll include an asterisk if it has sexual or what I think might be potentially triggering.

My heart feels heavy

a weight on my chest,

It weighs me down

as if the loss of you

were four million pounds.

Our love was beautiful

Our love was pure.

Now I'm left

with you, no more.

You'll always be with me

a love gone but not lost.

Until our next lifetime

What a price this cost.

We have four children

each proof of our love.

Strong, kind, smart, compassionate
they were sent from up above.

This feeling's so strange

to feel this pain.

I love them with all that I am

But I miss you, my love
I need to see you again.

In this lifetime

I don't know who you are.

I wonder if you feel it too.

The pain of our separation,

I still miss you.

A love that great,

Deserves a full lifetime.
A love that great,

Shouldn't have to wait in line.

Will we find eachother?

Are we destined

to love one another?

Or will it be,

another lifetime until you and me.
